Budget Analyst/Senior Accountant
The candidate will lead the accountant on the annual budget process and quarter updates. Responsible for ongoing management of reporting & budgeting software, including quarterly/ monthly maintenance and report mapping when necessary. Manages FTE/Headcount process as part of month-end close. Interacts with administrative department heads as it relates to their expense budgets and variance reporting. Assists with review of the monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Backup to daily cash reporting and journal entry processing. Responds to ad hoc report requests. Participates in special projects as needed. Should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 5+ years of related accounting experience. Service industry experience preferred, financial systems software maintenance a plus; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills. Database / SQL or programming skills a plus; Well organized, detail-oriented, works well in a team environment; excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong work ethic, self-driven and can work independently.
