Trust and Estate Paralegal
The candidate should have 5+ years of recent Trust and Estates experience as well as experience with estate planning and probate litigation, generally complex in a variety of ways: assets, values, multiple jurisdictions, taxable estates. Tax background and understanding is preferable, with knowledge and preparation of Form 706 and Form 709. Must be able to work independently and as a team, manage cases, and will be relied on for follow up and accountability. Will prepare legal documents, filings, and/or general correspondence with accuracy and adhere to the firm formatting guidelines. This position requires that the Trust and Estates Paralegal be extremely detail-oriented, organized, critical about accuracy, spelling and grammar and possess the ability to prioritize and follow up. Should be able to multitask and manage a voluminous caseload. Proficient in the MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook required. Solid command of English including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style required.
