Website and Mobile App Accessibility and Compliance Director
Duties: Manages, trains, and grows an onshore and offshore team. Acts as the subject matter expert for clients to meet their Cookie, Pixel, and website and Mobile App compliance obligations. Evaluates native apps for iOS and Android devices to ensure they meet ADA, FINRA, GDPR, CPRA, and other regulatory obligations. Trains client software development teams to integrate Data Protection by Design and Default into their development practices. Participates in the development of technologies to automate certain compliance services. Aligns with the Privacy Technology Services roadmap and contributes to the delivery of the strategy. Coordinates with the business development team to ensure they have the proper tools to introduce website and Mobile App compliance services to clients. Manages client website and Mobile App compliance projects that could include thousands of websites. Supports sales efforts from a technical perspective. Mentors project leaders and employees to enable their professional development and continued growth. Ensures that data protection by design principles to elements of the SDLC, including requirements elicitation, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing administration and maintenance. Ensures that consent models to cookies, pixels, beacons, and other tracking technologies for websites and mobile applications are integrated into client practices. Develops website scanning strategies and technologies; recommends and implements technical measures to support compliance with consent and preference management obligations. Develops integration strategies between privacy technologies and privacy-adjacent solutions such as those used by Human Resources, Enterprise Architecture, Analytics, Marketing, and other business functions. Advises on anonymization, pseudonymization, and encryption capabilities to ensure websites and Mobile Apps are compliant. Ensures clients are provided high-quality services from all levels of the team and provides an appropriate level of oversight and review of client reports and deliverables. Utilizes knowledge of client needs to develop project and resource plans, establish reporting and metrics, and provide client with regular updates. Institutes methodologies to drive consistency on project delivery. Handles other duties as required. Manages the Website and Mobile App compliance onshore and offshore team and sets expectations, provides feedback, and delivers mid-year and annual feedback. Mentors professionals within the GRC team. Reviews and oversees engagement budgets and identifies the appropriate level of staff required to execute project work. Evaluates team members’ performance and develops goals and objectives to enhance professional development. Delivers periodic performance feedback and completes performance evaluations in accordance with Firm guidance. Acts as a leader, and projects a professional, positive attitude toward client and firm personnel.
