Description

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. The Senior Product Owner work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Gathers and documents business system and functional requirements, influences system design to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Oversees the implementation, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team.

Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.

Manage the Repos for product source code and manage release pipelines for product code.

Collaborates with business partners to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.

Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including PMO, development, testing and support teams.

Conduct Bi-weekly product backlog review meeting with vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Computer Science plus 8-10 years of experience in IT industry.

Pervious working experience as a product owner. Product Owner Certification preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In- depth knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Experience working with Azure Devops platform.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
