Data Privacy and Mobility Attorney
The candidate should preferably have 10+ years of legal practice experience with strong regulatory and/or litigation skills and expertise and passion for data privacy and emerging transportation technology. Should be well-versed in emerging domestic and international data privacy regulations, especially as related to technology companies and advanced mobility and have experience in: drafting and reviewing data protection impact assessments, privacy policies and product-specific privacy notices; assisting with the implementation of policies and procedures for responding to consumer rights requests and data breaches; reviewing vendor and customer contracts with a focus on security and data privacy issues; and advising mobility and technology providers on domestic and international data privacy laws and regulations. Must have excellent academic credentials. Current or pending CIPP certification is preferred. Admission to the Michigan Bar is preferred, as candidates admitted to practice in other jurisdictions will also be considered.
